Yes. You can buy or hire individual containers and complete container systems from us.

Hiring is particularly suitable for temporary space requirements, for example on building sites, during refurbishments or for short-term projects. Buying is often the more cost-effective solution if you intend to use the container in the long term or wish to customise it.

Yes. We stock both new or as-new containers and second-hand containers.

As-new shipping containers have usually been used once to transport goods from the manufacturer to Europe and may therefore show slight signs of wear. Second-hand containers offer a particularly cost-effective solution for storage, transport, conversion projects or industrial applications.

For second-hand office and sanitary containers, the fittings and condition vary depending on the individual unit available.

That depends on the intended use:

Sea, storage or general-purpose containers are suitable for dry and robust goods.
Insulated accommodation and office containers are recommended for offices, break rooms, sales areas or site facilities.
Various sanitary containers are available for toilets, showers and changing rooms.
For temperature-sensitive goods, we offer refrigerated containers and insulated containers.
For six-metre-long bars and long goods, we stock special long-load containers.
Specially equipped tyre containers are available for tyres.

The sizes available depend on the specific type of container. The range of containers available for hire and sale includes, amongst others, 8-, 10-, 15-, 20- and 40-foot containers.

For shipping containers, the most commonly used sizes are 20-foot, 40-foot and 40-foot high-cube. In addition, 8-foot, 10-foot, 20-foot high-cube and 45-foot versions, as well as various specialised containers, may also be available.

As internal and external dimensions vary depending on the design, we will be happy to provide you with the relevant technical data sheet.

A high-cube container is taller than a comparable standard container. This gives it greater internal height and additional cargo capacity.

High-cube containers are particularly suitable for bulky or tall goods, shelving systems and fit-out projects where extra headroom is required. The 40-foot high-cube container is particularly common.

The price depends on the type of container, its size, condition, fittings, quantity, delivery location and the delivery service required. For hire containers, the hire period and any accessories also play a role.

Transport costs also depend on whether you collect the container yourself, require delivery without unloading, or need a full delivery service including unloading and installation.

Many standard containers are available at short notice. However, the actual delivery date depends on the type of container required, its specifications, the location, the number of units needed and the available transport capacity.

Standardised individual containers can usually be supplied more quickly than customised containers or larger container systems. Once we have received your enquiry, we will check current availability and agree a firm delivery date with you.

We mainly deliver throughout Germany, to Austria and to Switzerland. Thanks to our various warehouse and depot locations, shipping containers in particular can often be delivered from a depot close to the desired location.

For our hire services, we deliver not only throughout Germany but also to parts of Austria. We are happy to assess deliveries to other European countries on a case-by-case basis.

Depending on your requirements, we offer various delivery options:

• Collection from our site in Kaufbeuren or from an available depot
• Loading onto your vehicle at a depot or rail terminal
• Delivery free to your premises without unloading
• Delivery free to your premises including unloading
• Delivery and provision to an agreed point of use

If you do not have your own unloading facilities, we will be happy to organise a suitable delivery including unloading.

Yes. Containers you have purchased can be collected from our site in Kaufbeuren or from one of our available depots, subject to prior arrangement.

Your vehicle must be suitable for the weight and dimensions of the container. Furthermore, safe loading and proper load securing must be ensured. We will arrange the collection point and time with you in advance on a binding basis.

The delivery vehicle requires an access route that is sufficiently wide, high and strong enough to support its weight. There must also be sufficient space for manoeuvring, stabilising the vehicle and unloading.

Please inform us in advance of any narrow access routes, gates, bends, roof overhangs, trees, fences, overhead cables or other obstacles. It would be helpful to provide photos as well as details of the access route’s dimensions and the distance between the potential lorry parking space and the final installation site.

On this basis, we can assess which delivery and unloading methods are suitable.

The container must be placed on a level, load-bearing and, where possible, paved surface. The support points must be prepared in such a way that the container stands level and does not warp.

Depending on the type of container, suitable concrete slabs, point foundations, paved surfaces or special base plates can be used. For larger, multi-storey or permanently used container complexes, the foundations should be professionally planned.

An unsuitable or uneven surface can result in doors and windows no longer closing properly.

Under planning law, containers may be regarded as structures. Whether planning permission is required depends, amongst other things, on the federal state, the local authority, the location, the intended use, the size and the planned duration of installation.

Even a project that may not require a planning application must comply with other public law regulations. We therefore recommend that you consult the relevant building control authority in advance regarding the installation.

The responsibility for applying for and obtaining planning permission generally lies with the client or the person commissioning the work. We will provide any necessary technical product documentation to the best of our ability.

Our office containers are constructed from sturdy steel sections and, depending on the model, feature a galvanised frame, cement-bonded floor slabs and insulated sandwich panels.

Depending on the model, the standard fittings include, amongst other things:

• a lockable steel door
• windows
• interior lighting
• sockets
• basic electrical wiring
• heating

Yes. Office, lounge and residential containers can be adapted to suit the intended purpose.

Depending on the project, for example, additional windows and doors, air conditioning, customised room layouts, electrical fittings and suitable furniture are all possible. Several modules can be connected to form larger rooms or complete office and communal facilities.

Yes. Shipping containers, office containers and sanitary containers can be supplied or painted in various RAL colours, depending on the model.

This allows the container to be adapted, for example, to your corporate colours, an existing building or its intended use. For second-hand containers or those required at short notice, the choice of colour depends on stock availability and processing time.

As screen displays may differ from the actual RAL colours, the colour selection shown is not binding.

Many accessories can be supplied directly alongside a rental or purchase container. Locks, shelving and other smaller accessories can also be delivered via a parcel service.

Yes. Suitable shipping, office and modular containers can be joined to form larger container complexes and, depending on the container system, can also be arranged in multi-storey configurations.

To ensure a safe design, factors such as structural analysis, foundations, connections, staircases, handrails and, where applicable, escape routes must be taken into account. For multi-storey configurations, we offer suitable stacking restraints and staircase systems.

We assess whether and how a connection or stacking is possible based on the type of container used and the specific project.

New or as-new shipping containers are generally supplied with a valid CSC sticker. They can therefore be used for international transport in accordance with their approval.

In the case of used containers, the validity of the CSC marking must be checked on each individual container. A container offered exclusively as a storage container is not automatically approved for further shipping.

If modifications have been made to the outer shell of the container, the CSC approval is generally revoked entirely.

Please therefore let us know in your enquiry whether the container is required solely for storage or also for international transport.

Yes. We generally buy containers of various types and, by arrangement, can also arrange collection and transport.

To carry out an initial valuation, we require clear photographs as well as details of the container’s type, size, year of manufacture, location and condition.
