Lightweight Storage Containers

LLC TYPE

The LLC series of storage containers are known for their lightweight construction and the option for disassembly. When necessary, these containers can be disassembled and manually unloaded or moved to hard-to-reach locations without the need for a forklift.

These lightweight storage containers are constructed with specially folded and galvanized steel profiles (2 mm thick). The exterior walls and roof are made from galvanized corrugated sheets (0.75 mm thick) with horizontal ridges. The doors and front wall feature vertical ridges. The 35 mm thick wooden floorboards are securely fastened to the frame profiles. With even load distribution, the floor can support approximately 500 kg/m².

Lightweight storage containers are typically delivered with a two-wing door as a standard feature. The left door wing functions as a fixed panel with an interior shoot bolt. The right pedestrian door wing is equipped with a handle and a profile cylinder lock.

These lightweight storage containers can be lifted using a crane through the openings located in the red corners. When a four-fold lifting set is properly used, loads of up to 1,500 kg can be lifted with even load distribution. Additionally, the base of the container is compatible with a forklift, capable of moving up to 3,000 kg with even load distribution and a fork length of 2.2 meters.

The galvanized LLC storage containers have been inspected and certified by TÜV Süd.

The LLC series of storage containers are available in the lengths mentioned above. Using a coupling kit, two containers, even of different lengths, can be joined together end-to-end. This means that containers of around 7 meters in length can be created by coupling.

Accessoires

Shelving: The lightweight storage containers come ready for use in their base configuration. If needed, they can be equipped with (free-standing) shelves. Shelf supports and arms for easy assembly onto the side walls are available as additional accessories. The shelf supports can be inserted into the side walls without the need for tools. Subsequently, the shelf arms can be hung on the supports. A variety of materials, such as plastic, sheet metal, or wood, can be used as shelf boards (with a depth of approximately 50 mm) in various lengths. The load capacity per arm is 30 kg, and the support is limited to 120 kg.

Theft Protection: For enhanced security, a solid theft protection bar prevents access to the profile cylinder lock and simultaneously the operation of the door handle. The mounts for the bar are firmly attached to the container (screwed). An optional, robust ABLOY padlock (PL 330/25) secures the bar to the container.

Additional Container Door: Instead of a closed front wall, a second door can be installed on this container model.

Coupling Kit: By using a coupling kit, two containers, even of different lengths, can be joined together end-to-end. This allows for the creation of, for example, approximately 7-meter-long storage containers.
