ABLOY PL 330 Padlock
A versatile and robust padlock suitable for use with containers, swap bodies, waste containers, storage room doors, gates, motorcycles, trailers, control cabinets, and various other applications.
The body of this ABLOY padlock is made of chrome-plated steel, while its shackle is crafted from hardened boron steel, providing exceptional resistance against physical attacks. A hardened, freely rotating locking plate protects against drilling attempts on the lock. Further security is provided by hardened stainless steel ball bearings that lock the shackle at both ends.
ABLOY's surface treatment ensures a high level of corrosion resistance for both the external and internal parts of the lock. ABLOY padlocks are suitable for use at sea and in coastal areas. The lock contains no springs or parts that could jam or block.
The special lock cylinders with eleven rotating discs allow for keyed alike options, master key systems (for an additional fee), and offer an extensive number of key combinations. The cylinder is highly resistant to dirt, freezing temperatures, saltwater, and wear. The key can only be removed when the lock is secured.
This padlock meets and exceeds the requirements for Security Grade 3 (exception: PL330/100 without a security grade) as per the European CEN standard (DIN EN 12320). Applications
PL330 padlocks fit into the locking bars of shipping containers and the locking devices of waste containers.
PL350 padlocks are included in our CR11 container security lock and can also be used for swap bodies and shipping containers. However, due to safety reasons, the shackle can only be extended about 4 mm from the housing, making this lock incompatible with the Lock-Box commonly found on new shipping containers. The depth of the Lock-Box does not allow for the shackle to be rotated for insertion.
