AR Type Roll-off Frames
The robust and fully welded AR type roll-off frames are used to accommodate ISO containers. The advantage of transporting containers with a roll-off frame is evident: the logistical effort for handling a container, which typically involves a truck, trailer, and the lifting equipment (such as a crane or forklift) needed for unloading, can be significantly reduced through the use of a roll-off container with a roll-off frame.
Roll-off frames are primarily designed for the flexible handling of a 20' container or Twistlock-compatible cargo. With the assistance of lifting devices, different containers can be transported and switched between a truck with a trailer and a roll-off tipper, as needed.
This method of container transport is particularly suitable for smaller businesses and does not require a specialized fleet for container handling. Additionally, roll-off frames enhance flexibility when transporting materials, sea containers, or office containers to construction sites, for instance.
The standard version available from us, with accommodation for a 20' container, consists of two locking traverses equipped with Twistlock fasteners at their ends. We also offer a model variant with four locking traverses, allowing for the optional accommodation of 1 x 20' or 2 x 10' containers to provide greater flexibility. Both model variants are manufactured according to DIN 30722-1 and tested in accordance with DGUV 114-010.
